About Nishiki Ramen

Nishiki Ramen is a family-owned business with 3 locations in San Diego, California, and one location in Plano, Texas. Our owner, Mike, was born in Tokyo, Japan, and brings authentic Japanese flavors to our community. We pride ourselves on making everything from scratch. Our noodles are made fresh daily in-house, and customers can watch the process in our on-site noodle factory. Our broth is crafted in a 200-liter pressure vessel to extract rich umami flavors from pork and chicken. Our chashu meats are cooked to perfection using a state-of-the-art steam convection oven. We are committed to enhancing ramen quality while preserving its traditional Japanese style.

I enjoyed the atmosphere at Nishiki Ramen. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has a nice environment for a family meal. The staff was friendly and the overall experience was pleasant. That said, I felt the food was just average for the price. The ramen was decent, but nothing really stood out to me. It also felt a little expensive compared with other ramen places in the area. Overall, it’s a nice family-friendly spot with a good atmosphere, but I think the food would need to be a little better to justify the price.

Came here for the first time because a friend recommended this spot, and I’m glad we did! The ramen was really good. Our server, Aleeza, was super helpful and recommended some of the house favorites. I ordered the Akuma Ramen, which I really enjoyed, but after trying my friend’s Smoke Bomb Black, I have to say that one really stood out. Great food, friendly service, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Absolutely delicious vegan ramen noodles. Our server Ni was exceptional. Ambience is wonderful. I will say the vegan ramen noodles here definitely resemble authentic Japanese taste. Very pleased with the food and service. F

It is usually hard to find a ramen place with genuinely good vegan or vegetarian options. They usually just feel like an afterthought. But this place completely nailed it. I ordered the Vegan Tofu Curry with wheat noodles, and everything about it was just too damn good! The broth was incredibly creamy, the portion sizes are huge, and the in-house made noodles are so fluffy and fresh. Shoutout to the amazing servers, too! If you love ramen (vegan or not), you need to add this place to your list immediately. I will definitely be coming back!
